How it works

Remote, step by step

No office, no commute — just a clear path from application to your first day supporting a community.

1

Apply & short chat

Fill in the application form and tell us about your availability. We'll follow up with a short written or call-based intro.

2

Guided onboarding

Work through our training modules and shadow a mentor on real (low-stakes) community tasks before you go live.

3

Start on your schedule

Begin supporting your assigned community with a flexible, agreed weekly schedule and ongoing support from the team.

From the team

What it's like on the inside

I joined as a Content Moderator and the onboarding walked me through everything step by step. My mentor was patient with all my questions in the first few weeks. Now I help run one of our busiest community channels, working remotely on my own schedule.

FAQ

Good to know

What matters most in the application?

Reliability, attention to detail and comfort communicating in written English. We also look for basic familiarity with everyday tools like Google Docs, Slack or Discord, since you'll use them from your first week.

What do I need to get started?

A laptop or desktop computer, a stable internet connection, and a quiet place to focus for your scheduled hours. No special software purchases are required — we provide access to the tools you'll use.

Is this really remote?

Yes. Every role on this site is remote. We review applications from candidates in many time zones who can work our shift windows.

How does pay and scheduling work?

Compensation depends on the role and your weekly availability, and is discussed directly during your application review — we don't publish figures here because it varies by hours and role. There's no cost to apply, and we never ask candidates to pay for training or equipment.

Will I get training?

Yes — every new teammate completes guided onboarding and is paired with a mentor before working independently, plus ongoing check-ins after you start.

Ready to bring good vibes to a community?

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Tell us a bit about yourself and we'll be in touch.
