We help online brands feel like a place, not just a page.
Camply started with a simple observation: the online communities people love most are the ones with real people quietly looking after them. We built a remote team to do exactly that, well.
Where we started
Camply began as a small group supporting a handful of online communities for growing consumer brands. Founders and moderators noticed the same thing over and over: communities thrive when someone reliable is showing up every day — welcoming people, answering questions, and keeping the tone friendly.
That idea became a company. Today Camply partners with online brands to run their community spaces, forums and social comment sections, staffed by a distributed team hired specifically for this work.
Why we hire remotely
Good community work happens in the small moments — a quick reply, a friendly welcome, a calm response to a complaint. We've found some of the best people for this work by hiring remotely and building small, steady teams that understand their communities' rhythms and time zones.
Every teammate works remotely, on a schedule that fits their life, with a mentor checking in regularly rather than being left to figure it out alone.
The four things every teammate shares
Kindness first
We treat every community member the way we'd want to be treated, even on a difficult day.
Clear communication
Say what you mean, write it simply, and keep your team and mentor in the loop.
Reliability
Communities notice when someone stops showing up. Showing up on schedule is the job.
Curiosity
Every community is different. We're always learning what makes each one tick.
A distributed team, close to the communities we serve
Camply has no central office. Our team works remotely across several time zones, with a small support hub coordinating onboarding and scheduling.
Curious what a day on the team looks like?
